Teaching

Maiya found her passion for teaching others the game at a young age in high school when she created a girls golf team and helped teach her friends to play. After competing on the Symetra tour, Maiya decided to focus on learning more about the game as she accepted a teaching position at Atlantic Golf Club in the Hamptons, NY in 2014. 

She continued her teaching down in Miami Beach and furthered her skills as an Assistant Professional at another private country club, La Gorce CC. 

Maiya made her move back to the West Coast to be closer to family in San Diego and currently teaches at Del Mar Golf Center. 

She has also used her online platform to provide virtual instruction and online lessons to clients from all over the world.
